How to read the Paperclip dashboard
Focus on the few dashboard signals that actually tell you whether your company is healthy.
Start with three signals
Do not stare at every panel. For a new setup, only track:
- agent status
- active tasks
- recent failures
If those three look sane, the rest can wait.
Agent status
Healthy status means the agent can wake up, receive work, and report back. If status is stale, fix heartbeat or connectivity before anything else.
Task board
Use the task board to answer:
- is work moving?
- is something blocked?
- are tasks bouncing between agents?
Repeated reassignment usually means the org structure is unclear.
Failure stream
One error is normal. Repeated identical errors mean your setup is wrong, not your prompt.
Look for patterns before changing the agent instructions.
